Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyampaikan bahwa Indonesia akan mewujudkan kolaborasi konkret dengan Afrika melalui desain besar pembangunan lima tahun ke depan yang sedang digarap.
Hal tersebut disampaikan dalam keterangan persnya setelah melakukan pertemuan bilateral bersama Presiden Samia Suluhu Hassan di Dar Es Salaam State House, Tanzania, pada Selasa.
“Indonesia akan lakukan walk the talk wujudkan kolaborasi konkret dengan Afrika. Indonesia sedang rampungkan grand design pembangunan lima tahun ke depan untuk Afrika,” kata Presiden sebagaimana keterangan yang diterima di Jakarta, Selasa.
Presiden Jokowi menyebutkan rencana pembangunan tersebut salah satunya dalam sektor pertanian di Tanzania, yakni melalui rencana revitalisasi Farmer’s Agriculture dan Rural Training Center di Morogoro Tanzania.
Sebagaimana diberitakan sebelumnya selain sektor pertanian, Kepala Negara juga menegaskan komitmen Indonesia dalam membangun ketahanan kesehatan di Tanzania melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan produk farmasi di Tanzania.
Menurut Joko Widodo, perusahaan farmasi Indonesia akan mengekspor produk perdananya di Tanzania sebagai bentuk kontribusi penuhi kebutuhan produk farmasi Tanzania.
Presiden Jokowi juga menyampaikan niatan Indonesia meningkatkan nilai investasi di Tanzania dalam bidang energi.
Dia menilai bahwa investasi dalam bidang tersebut sangat strategis dan dapat memperkuat kerja sama antarnegara berkembang.
Presiden juga mendorong pembentukan Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) antara Indonesia dan Tanzania untuk mengoptimalkan potensi perdagangan kedua negara.
Lebih lanjut, Presiden Jokowi juga menyebut bahwa dalam pertemuan, Indonesia mengusulkan pembentukan Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) untuk jamin perlindungan dan kelangsungan investasi kedua negara.
