Arusberita.id – Presiden Joko Widodo menyampaikan Indonesia segera kirim bantuan kemanusiaan untuk rakyat Palestina.
Hal ini disampaikan Presiden usai memimpin rapat terbatas (ratas) membahas perkembangan konflik Palestina-Israel di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta.
“Indonesia akan mengirim bantuan kemanusiaan yang akan disesuaikan dengan permintaan dan kebutuhan rakyat Palestina,” kata Presiden, Senin (30/10/2023).
Pengiriman bantuan kloter pertama, lanjut Presiden, akan dilaksanakan di pekan ini. “Bantuan ini adalah gabungan bantuan dari pemerintah dan dunia usaha serta masyarakat,” tutur Presiden.
Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan, selama ini Indonesia terus mengikuti perkembangan di Gaza. Indonesia sangat marah terhadap memburuknya situasi kemanusiaan di wilayah tersebut.
“Posisi Indonesia sangat jelas dan tegas, mengutuk keras serangan acak terhadap masyarakat sipil dan fasilitas sipil di Gaza,” tandas Presiden.
Menurutnya, saat ini Indonesia juga melakukan komunikasi dengan banyak pihak untuk mengupayakan penyelesaian masalah tersebut.
“Kekerasan harus dihentikan, gencatan senjata harus terus diupayakan, bantuan kemanusiaan harus terus didorong dan diakselerasi, dipercepat,” tegas Presiden Jokowi.
