Arusberita.id – Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas mengatakan bahwa pemerintah memberikan hak cuti pendampingan bagi ASN pria yang istrinya melahirkan.
Hal itu merupakan salah satu poin dari Rancangan Peraturan Pemerintah (RPP) tentang Manajemen Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) sebagai aturan pelaksana dari UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2023 tentang ASN. RPP tersebut ditargetkan tuntas maksimal April 2024.
“Pemerintah akan memberikan hak cuti kepada suami yang istrinya melahirkan atau keguguran. Cuti mendampingi istri yang melahirkan itu menjadi hak ASN pria yang diatur dan dijamin oleh negara,” kata Anas dalam keterangannya di Jakarta, Rabu.
Menurutnya, hak cuti tersebut merupakan aspirasi dari banyak pihak. Saat ini pemerintah meminta masukan dari stakeholder, termasuk DPR, terkait hal itu.
Sebelumnya, lanjut Anas, cuti bagi ASN pria yang istrinya melahirkan tidak diatur secara khusus. Yang diatur hanya cuti melahirkan bagi ASN perempuan.
Anas menilai hak cuti bagi karyawan pria yang istrinya melahirkan atau biasa disebut “cuti ayah” sudah jamak diberlakukan di sejumlah negara dan perusahaan multinasional.
Waktu cuti yang diberikan bervariasi, sekitar 15 hari, 30 hari, 40 hari, hingga 60 hari. Adapun durasi cuti ini tengah dibahas bersama stakeholder terkait yang akan diatur secara teknis di PP dan Peraturan Kepala BKN.
“Pemerintah berpandangan pentingnya peran ayah dalam pendampingan ketika sang istri melahirkan, termasuk saat fase-fase awal pasca-persalinan,” jelasnya.
Mantan kepala Lembaga Kebijakan Pengadaan Barang/Jasa Pemerintah (LKPP) tersebut menambahkan dengan pemberian hak cuti tersebut, diharapkan kualitas proses kelahiran anak bisa berjalan dengan baik. Mengingat itu merupakan fase penting untuk menyiapkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) terbaik penerus bangsa.
“Sesuai arahan Presiden Jokowi, ini menjadi salah satu inisiatif untuk kita terus berupaya mendorong peningkatan kualitas SDM sejak dini,” pungkas Anas.
