Arusberita.id – Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional/National Food Agency (NFA) Arief Prasetyo Adi memastikan Bulog telah amankan persediaan Cadangan Beras Pemerintah (CBP) sebanyak 1,6 juta ton yang akan digunakan untuk penyaluran bantuan pangan dan stabilisasi harga.
“Kami sampaikan bahwa stok beras di Bulog ada dan cukup untuk bantuan pangan dan stabilisasi harga, jumlah 1,6 juta ton beras secured sesuai arahan Bapak Presiden dalam ratas sebelumnya.” ujar Kepala Bapanas Arief di Jakarta, Selasa.
Ia mengatakan stok CBP akan terus bertambah seiring penyerapan gabah/beras yang terus dilakukan oleh Bulog.
Melalui stok beras yang tersedia tersebut, Arief meminta masyarakat untuk belanja bijak membeli bahan pangan secukupnya untuk keperluan sehari hari.
“Kami mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk belanja bijak sesuai keperluan dan stop boros pangan. Saya tegaskan bahwa stok beras yang ada di Perum Bulog aman dan cukup untuk keperluan bantuan pangan dan stabilisasi harga.” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, untuk meredam kenaikan harga beras, pihaknya terus menggencarkan Gerakan Pangan Murah (GPM) di seluruh daerah dan secara rutin bersama Kementerian Dalam Negeri dalam rangka monitoring perkembangan inflasi pangan di seluruh wilayah.
Selain itu, demi menjaga daya beli masyarakat berpendapatan rendah, pemerintah akan segera kembali menggelontorkan bantuan pangan beras kepada 21,353 juta Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) yang tersebar di seluruh provinsi.
Sama seperti bantuan beras tahap pertama yang berlangsung pada April-Mei 2023, bantuan pangan beras tahap kedua akan disalurkan selama tiga bulan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2023 dengan volume 10 kg beras per penerima.
