Arusberita.id – Pemerintah kembali hidupkan mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila pada jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) hingga sekolah menengah atas (SMA) pada tahun ini.
Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (BPIP) pun telah meluncurkan buku teks utama pendidikan Pancasila yang akan digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar.
“Buku teks ini kita harapkan nanti akan menjadi pegangan, referensi di dalam program pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah maupun di madrasah,” kata Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan Muhadjir Effendy usai acara sosialisasi di The Tribrata, Jakarta, Senin (21/8/2023).
Muhadjir mengungkapkan, pemerintah kembali hidupkan mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila atas evaluasi terhadap mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn).
Menurut Muhadjir, penggabungan pendidikan Pancasila ke PKn yang telah berlaku bertahun-tahun membuat materi pendidikan Pancasila kepada murid tidak menonjol.
“Karena materi pancasila itu hanya menjadi bagian kecil dari mata pelajaran PKn dan lebih tekankan pada sisi pengetahuan tentang Pancasila,” ujarnya.
Padahal, Muhadjir mengatakan, pendidikan Pancasila semestinya diajarkan secara kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik agar murid dapat berperilaku sebagai seorang pancasilais.
“Bisa dalam bentuk pemaparan bahan ajar tapi juga berkaitan dengan tadi pembentukan sikap dan juga berperilaku sehari-sendiri,” kata Muhadjir.
