Berbagai situasi sulit yang dihadapi Indonesia dinilai telah dilewati Jokowi dengan sangat baik.
Rektor Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP) Jebul Suroso menyampaikan Jokowi telah banyak berjasa bagi Indonesia. Di bawah kepemimpinan Jokowi, Hono menyebut Indonesia berhasil melewati masa-masa sulit saat pandemi virus COVID-19 mewabah. Dia menilai kepemimpinan presiden sangat menentukan dalam mengambil sikap di tengah situasi sulit yang dihadapi dunia.
“Kami juga menyampaikan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya. Kepada bapak presiden atas legacy yang telah dicanangkan diperoleh dihasilkan untuk kemajuan bangsa Indonesia. Pandemi COVID telah dilalui melalui upaya keras dan ini adalah berkat leadership dari Bapak Presiden,” kata Jebul dalam keterangan video, Jumat (2/2/2024).
“Kami juga menyampaikan di momen pemilihan presiden, Pemilihan Umum tahun 2024, mudah-mudahan Bapak Presiden dan bangsa Indonesia bisa memperoleh pemimpin untuk melanjutkan kinerja dari bapak Presiden Joko Widodo,” katanya.
Tangani Pandemi
Senada dengan Jebul, Rektor Universitas Darul Ulum Islamic Centre Sudirman (Undaris) Semarang Hono Sejati juga mengapresiasi kepemimpinan Jokowi dalam menangani pandemi COVID-19 dengan sangat baik sehingga mendapatkan apresiasi dari Badan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO).
“Negara Indonesia dibutuhkan pemimpin seorang negarawan yang inovatif, yang bisa menyatukan bangsa, yang dikemas dalam bingkai NKRI dalam hal ini ada dalam bapak Presiden RI yang ke-7 yaitu Bapak Ir Joko Widodo atau Bapak Jokowi adalah seorang negarawan yang banyak berjasa bagi Indonesia. “Di bawah kepemimpinan beliau, Indonesia melakukan lompatan kemajuan berhasil melewati masa-masa sulit pandemi COVID-19,” kata Hono dalam keterangan video, Jumat (2/2/2024).
Sementara itu, Rektor Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Surakarta Sunarto Istianto mengapresiasi kinerja Jokowi selama dua periode. Sunarto mengatakan Jokowi telah banyak membangun kemajuan, terutama di sektor pembangunan.
“Saya menyampaikan apa yang saya rasa, saya alami, saya prediksikan, saya kemukakan, bahwa presiden kita Pak Joko Widodo selama hampir dua periode ini membina jauh banyak kemajuan, banyak menjadi negara-negara yang lain ikut mengacungkan jempol kepada beliau Pak Jokowi, membangunnya luar biasa, baik fisik dan pembangunan yang lain,” kata Sunarto dalam keterangan video, Jumat (2/2/2024).
“Saya menyaksikan sendiri bahwa Pak Jokowi adalah orang yang dari Solo yang memperhatikan juga daerah termasuk Solo,” imbuhnya.
Pembangunan Infrastruktur
Dukungan lain juga datang dari Rektor Akademi Pelayaran Nasional Surakarta Hadi. Dia mengatakan Jokowi telah berhasil membangun infrastruktur yang sangat baik, terutama dalam membangun konektivitas di dunia pelayaraan, salah satu terobosan yang paling menonjol adalah tol laut dan pembangunan sejumlah pelabuhan.
