Arusberita.id – Musim Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) serentak diperkirakan akan berdampak pada naiknya permintaan beras di dalam negeri, terutama untuk kebutuhan logistik ataupun bansos.
Karenanya, Pengamat Pertanian dari Asosiasi Ekonomi Politik Indonesia (AEPI) menyarankan Bulog untuk memastikan kecukupan beras menghadapi Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) serentak 2024.
“Bulog harus mengantisipasi karena kalau ada tarikan permintaan dalam jumlah besar dari berbagai daerah pada saat bersamaan, potensi harga naik akan besar,” jelas Khudori pada Kontan.co.id, Minggu (21/7).
Kepastian stok ini penting menurutnya agar masyarakat juga tidak melakukan panic buying. Dengan demikian harga beras di pasar dengan mudah dikendalikan.
Lebih lanjut, kepastian stok ini dapat dilakukan dengan merealisasi penugasan impor beras Bulog. Untuk itu, Khudori meminta kepada Bulog untuk melakukan perhitungan cermat apakah penugasan impor sebanyak 3,6 juta ton tahun ini cukup memenuhi kebutuhan tahunan termasuk Pilkada.
Pasalnya, saat ini Bulog telah merealisasikan sebanyak 2,2 juta ton penugasan impor. Dan berdasarkan hitungan AEPI, pemerintah perlu menambah 1,3 juta ton untuk memenuhi kebutuahan hingga akhir tahun.
“Tapi terus terang kebutuhan operasi pasar sampai akhir tahun belum memperhitungkan kebutuhan untuk logistik dan bansos atau serangan fajar pilkada,” jelas Khudori.
Makanya, Khudori meminta Bulog melakukan perhitungan lagi. Perhitungan ini harus menambahkan kebutuhan perkiraan pilkada termasuk perkiraan produksi beras di Oktober-Desember mendatang.
Setelah perhitungan tersebut, pemerintah dapat memutuskan apakah impor perlu ditambah atau justru kurang dari 3,6 juta ton dari penugasan yang diberikan kepada Bulog.
“Dan ini setidaknya bisa diketahui di akhir September. Di bulan itu setidaknya kita sudah dapat perkiraan produksi di Oktober-Desember plus produksi riil Januari-September,” jelasnya.
Sebelumnya, Direktur Utama Perum Bulog, Bayu Krisnamurthi memastikan stok cadangan beras pemerintah (CBP) cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nasional termasuk Pilkada serentak tahun ini.
Ia juga tegas bilang belum ada keputusan penambahan impor untuk kebutuhan hajatan rakyat itu. Hingga kini penugasan impor beras kepada Bulog masih sama yakni 3,6 juta ton di tahun ini.
“Insyaallah cukup (untuk pilkada),” jelas Bayu.
