Sehingga menyulitkan upaya pihaknya dalam menghentikan aktivitas perjudian melalui pemblokiran akses deposit.
“Kalau bermain judi online sekarang juga modusnya udah macem-macem. Sehingga meyulitkan upaya pemblokiran,” ucap Direktur Analisis dan Pemeriksaan II PPATK, Danang Tri Hartono dalam Seminar Edukatif Pencegahan Judi Online dan Literasi Digital Cyber Security di Jakarta, Rabu (24/7/2024).
Danang menyebutkan, platform judi online untuk telah membuka akses deposit selain dari rekening bank.
Seperti melalui Qris, pulsa, e-commerce, voucher google play pada minimarket, voucher game online, e-wallet hingga virtual account.
Sejauh ini PPATK, kata dia, hanya bisa melakukan pemblokiran pada rekening-rekening bank.
Tetapi tidak untuk platform lainnya seperti pulsa telepon.
Lebih lanjut, ia menyebutkan, kesulitan lainnya yang ditemui adalah terkait sumber rekening yang tak bisa terlihat tanpa mendaftar terlebih dahulu.
Sehingga tidak memungkin untuk membuka ribuan situs untuk mendaftar satu-persatu untuk memblokir rekening deposit judi online.
