Arusberita.id – Presiden Jokowi pada Jumat (7/7/2023) pagi WIT membuka secara resmi Papua Street Carnival yang digelar Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Kemenparekraf), berkolaborasi dengan Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH).
“Dengan memohon berkah dan anugrah dari Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, pada pagi hari ini, Papua Street Carnival secara resmi saya nyatakan dibuka dan dimulai,” kata Presiden Jokowi di halaman Kantor Gubernur Papua, Jayapura, Jumat pagi.
Peresmian Papua Street Carnival dengan tema “The East Great Spirit”, ditandai secara simbolis oleh Presiden Jokowi dengan menekan tombol bersama-bersama dengan Menparekraf Sandiaga Salahudin Uno, Kepala BIN Budi Gunawan, serta Plh. Gubernur Papua, M. Ridwan Rumasukun.
Diketahui, PYCH merupakan binaan dari Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN).
Peresmian tersebut turut dihadiri Mendagri, Tito Karnavian, Mensesneg, Pratikno, Menteri Investasi, Bahlil Lahadalia, Panglima TNI Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono, Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo, dan pejabat lainnya.
Presiden Jokowi mengaku telah melihat perkembangan PYCH sejak diresmikan olehnya pada Maret 2023 lalu, dan yakin bahwa anak muda Papua akan mencapai lompatan besar dalam pengembangan industri kreatif di daerah ini.
Presiden Jokowi menyoroti kemajuan PYCH dalam bidang fashion design, dengan desain-desain yang sangat baik dan dikemas dengan brand yang menarik. Presiden Jokowi juga menyebutkan tentang produksi handphone dan laptop yang dilakukan oleh anak muda Papua, sebuah terobosan yang luar biasa dalam industri kreatif di wilayah Indonesia bagian Timur.
“Saya meyakini anak muda Papua akan melakukan sebuah lompat besar,” tegas Jokowi.
Presiden juga berharap pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif di Papua semakin berkembang, memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat Papua, dan mengangkat citra Papua sebagai destinasi pariwisata unggulan dengan potensi kreatif yang melimpah.
Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno memberikan apresiasi yang tinggi terhadap karya-karya anak muda PYCH. Menurutnya, Papua Street Carnival merupakan pagelaran ekonomi kreatif pertama di tanah Papua. Hal ini tentu menjadi catatan sejarah positif bagi pembangunan pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif Papua.
“Papua Street Carnival adalah wadah bagi pelaku ekonomi kreatif, cerminan anak muda untuk memajukan Papua. Dan kreasi-kreasinya luar biasa, masif, meriah, dan insyaallah mendunia,” ucapnya.
Papua Street Carnival 2023 menjadi ajang yang meriah dan hebat, menghadirkan kemegahan budaya Papua dan kekayaan sumber daya alamnya. Dengan suksesnya Papua Street Carnival ini, diharapkan pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif di Papua semakin berkembang dan mengangkat citra Papua sebagai destinasi pariwisata unggulan di tingkat internasional.
Presiden Jokowi didampingi Sandi, Tito, Pratikno, Budi Gunawan dan pejabat lainnya sebelum peresmian meninjau stand pameran dari anak muda PYCH, seperti stand Waibu Agro Edu Tourism, brand laptop dan Hp dari TOP.ID, Handicraft, screen printing, aunthentic FNB, Papua Coffe, PYCH Store, kriya hingga stand para pelaku ekonomi kreatif lainnya.
Papua Street Carnival melibatkan ribuan pelaku ekonomi kreatif, ribuan pengisi acara, ratusan parade busana, ratusan pameran UMKM kreatif yang diikuti lebih dari 3.000 pelaku UMKM kreatif yang memamerkan produk-produk kreatif lokal yang mencerminkan keahlian dan kreativitas masyarakat Papua.
Lalu, ratusan perahu hias yang berasal dari kampung adat dan nelayan setempat hingga karnaval. Mereka menampilkan beragam karya dan warisan budaya Papua yang kaya, indah, dan unik.
Adapun para perancang busana karnaval yaitu Ezterlin Baransano, Jenita Hilapok, Jeane M. Mariene, Eunike Yunita Raubaba (Unie), Alfa Mesak Suebu, Yan Pepuho, Yanpiet Pattynama (Pato), Hermin Rachel Makanuay, Lusy Sampary Umbora, Alfianty Mandosir, Irfais Marasabessy & Isak Osbabur (Baju Lukis). Mereka adalah anak muda PYCH binaan BIN.
Papua Street Carnival menampilkan mulai dari parade Tarian Fuu dengan alat musik Tifa. Kemudian parade 7 wilayah adat Papua diawali dengan replika Tifa raksaksa, terdiri dari wilayah adat Mamta/Tambi, Saereri, Doberai, Bomberai, Anim Ha, La pago, dan Me-pago, hingga parade busana karnaval yang terinspirasi dari flora, fauna, dan kekayaan budaya yang ada di Tanah Papua. Ada pula Pawai Papua Street Carnival dengan 20 kendaraan pick up hias yang membawa sekitar 50 parade kostum.
Hiburan marching band pada beberapa titik jalan di area sekitar Kantor Gubernur hingga pesta rakyat yang menampilkan tari-tarian, musik, hingga stand up comedy.
Pengisi panggung hiburan di antaranya, Shine Of Black, Mac (Music Anak Coment), Soundphoria, Tari Fu And Tiffa (Sanggar Miktam), Tari Yospan (Sanggar Honong), Pyhc Choir, Color Guard (Taners Papua) hingga Marching Band Sman 4 Jayapura. Kegiatan tersebut juga disaksikan ribuan masyarakat Papua yang hadir dari berbagai wilayah.
