Arusberita.id – Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional/National Food Agency (NFA) Arief Prasetyo Adi menyatakan bantuan pangan beras 10 kilogram bakal dilanjutkan hingga Desember 2024. Namun, ada yang berbeda dari penyalurannya.
Bila awalnya bansos pangan disalurkan setiap sebulan sekali, setelah Juni bansos pangan akan disalurkan per 2 bulan sekali. Artinya, pemerintah hanya akan memberikan bansos beras selama 3 kali hingga Desember, tepatnya Agustus, Oktober, dan Desember.
“Alhamdulillah, hari ini Bapak Presiden Jokowi telah memberikan persetujuan keberlanjutan bantuan pangan beras untuk terus dikucurkan kepada 22 juta keluarga se-Indonesia, berupa beras kualitas terbaik dari Bulog 10 kilogram per keluarga per 2 bulan,” beber Arief dalam keterangannya, Senin (3/6/2024).
Arief menjelaskan bantuan pangan beras merupakan bentuk perhatian pemerintah kepada 22 juta keluarga yang berada di kelas menengah ke bawah Indonesia. Bila dihitung per individu, Arief mengatakan 22 juta keluarga itu jumlahnya bisa mencapai 89 juta.
Apalagi saat ini harga pangan secara global juga menunjukkan kenaikan. Maka dari itu untuk menjaga daya beli masyarakat terbawah, pemerintah melanjutkan bantuan pangan beras 10 kg yang sudah berjalan sejak akhir tahun lalu.
“Keberlanjutan bantuan pangan beras ini menjadi penting, terlebih harga pangan secara global mulai menunjukkan adanya kenaikan, sehingga kita pun harus mulai bersiap,” sebut Arief.
Menurutnya hanya Indonesia saja negara di dunia yang pemerintahnya mau menjaga daya beli masyarakat. Bantuan pangan beras 10 kg ini hanya ada di Indonesia.
“Kita di Indonesia punya bantuan pangan ini karena tidak ada negara lain yang memberikan bantuan pangan gratis dalam bentuk beras, kecuali Indonesia. Dengan instrumen ini, kita yakin dapat menjaga kondisi perberasan sekaligus inflasi nasional,” pungkas Arief.
