Arusberita.id – Dalam rangka mendukung pencapaian swasembada pangan, Badan Pangan Nasional/National Food Agency (NFA) terus melakukan berbagai upaya untuk memperkuat stok Cadangan Pangan Pemerintah (CPP).
Langkah ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen pemerintah untuk menjaga stabilitas pasokan dan harga pangan sekaligus memperkuat ekosistem pangan nasional yang mandiri dan berdaulat.
Kepala NFA Arief Prasetyo Adi menyatakan guna mewujudkan swasembada pangan, diperlakukan sinergi antara pemerintah, pemerintah daerah, para pelaku usaha pangan, serta seluruh elemen masyarakat. Hal ini merupakan kunci kesuksesan bersama untuk menggapai Indonesia Emas 2045.
“Penguatan cadangan pangan menjadi salah satu kunci untuk menghadapi tantangan global seperti perubahan iklim, gejolak harga pangan dunia, dan risiko bencana alam. Dengan cadangan yang memadai, kita dapat menjaga ketahanan pangan nasional serta mendorong penguatan ekosistem pangan nasional yang mendukung peningkatan kesejahteraan pelaku usaha di sektor pangan,” ujar Arief pada Selasa (3/12/2024).
Adapun langkah-langkah yang telah dilakukan oleh NFA meliputi penguatan infrastruktur dan logistik pangan melalui pembangunan sarpras rantai dingin (cold chain) untuk memastikan distribusi pangan berjalan lancar dan merata, kerjasama dengan BUMN dan asosiasi untuk memperkuat pengadaan dan pengelolaan stok pangan pokok strategis, hingga optimalisasi penyerapan hasil panen petani sebagai langkah prioritas mendukung produksi domestik.
Di sisi lain, program diversifikasi pangan lokal mendukung pengembangan pangan lokal sebagai alternatif seperti sagu, singkong, dan umbi-umbian, juga dilakukan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada beras, di samping gerakan Stop Boros Pangan.
Dengan kebijakan ini, Kepala NFA berharap upaya ini tidak hanya meningkatkan ketahanan pangan nasional, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan ekosistem usaha pangan, termasuk peningkatan kesejahteraan para pelaku usaha pangan termasuk petani, distributor, dan pengolah, bisa mendapatkan manfaat melalui kepastian pasar, stabilitas harga, dan peluang usaha yang lebih luas.
NFA optimis bahwa Indonesia dapat mencapai swasembada pangan secara berkelanjutan dan mengurangi impor, bahkan mampu menjadi negara pengekspor pangan di masa depan, selaras dengan visi Presiden Prabowo Subianto untuk mewujudkan Indonesia sebagai Lumbung Pangan Dunia.
Sebelumnya dalam Rapat Kabinet di Jakarta (2/12/2024) Presiden Prabowo Subianto mengapresiasi kinerja kementerian/lembaga di bidang pangan atas upayanya dalam meningkatkan produksi, menjaga stabilitas pasokan dan harga pangan, serta memperkuat CPP. Diharapkan 2025 tidak impor beras.
“Apresiasi saya juga kepada Menteri Pertanian dan timnya, Bulog, Badan Pangan Nasional, semua unsur, Menteri BUMN dan BUMN yang berada di bawah pengawasan Menteri BUMN. Terima kasih langkah-langkah kita di akhir tahun 2024 juga karena dukungan Presiden Joko Widodo sebelumnya kita mampu mengatasi tahun ini yang tidak ringan,” ungkap Presiden.
Diketahui pada akhir tahun 2024, stok Cadangan Beras Pemerintah (CBP) mencapai hampir 2 juta ton, harga pangan relatif stabil untuk menjaga daya beli masyarakat. Ke depan upaya pemenuhan CPP akan dioptimalkan melalui produksi dalam negeri.
