Arusberita.id – Universitas Pelita Harapan menyelenggarakan Webinar Persembahan bersama Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi (Dirjen Imigrasi) dengan topik Kebijakan Keimigrasian Indonesia Dalam Mendukung Masuknya Investasi Asing di Indonesia, Rabu, (06/09).

Webinar ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada mahasiswa dan masyarakat tentang kebijakan Golden Visa yang menjadi salah satu inovasi terbaru dalam bidang imigrasi di Indonesia.

Dirjen Imigrasi, Bapak Silmy Karim menjadi pembicara utama dalam kegiatan webinar ini. Beliau menjelaskan dengan rinci mengenai kebijakan Golden Visa dan bagaimana hal ini dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan ekonomi nasional. Golden Visa adalah program imigrasi yang memberikan kemudahan akses kepada investor asing yang ingin tinggal di Indonesia dengan syarat investasi tertentu.

Dalam kegiatan yang dihadiri oleh mahasiswa dan staf dosen UPH, Bapak Silmy menjelaskan bahwa Golden Visa merupakan instrumen yang dapat mendorong investasi asing langsung (Foreign Direct Investment/FDI) di Indonesia. Melalui program ini, investor asing dapat memperoleh izin tinggal jangka panjang dengan fasilitas yang lebih mudah dan cepat.

Selain itu, Dirjen Imigrasi juga membahas manfaat ekonomi yang diharapkan dari kebijakan Golden Visa, seperti peningkatan lapangan kerja, pertumbuhan sektor properti, dan peningkatan pendapatan negara. Ia juga menyoroti persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi oleh para investor asing yang ingin mengikuti program ini, termasuk jumlah investasi minimal yang diperlukan.

Perwakilan dari UPH menyambut baik kehadiran Bapak Silmy Karim pada kegiatan dan kuliah umum ini, harapannya bahwa acara semacam ini dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga kepada mahasiswa UPH dalam memahami peran imigrasi dalam pembangunan nasional.

Acara ini juga diikuti oleh pertanyaan dan diskusi antara mahasiswa dan Bapak Silmy Karim. Para peserta dapat mengajukan pertanyaan seputar detail kebijakan Golden Visa, proses aplikasi, serta dampaknya terhadap ekonomi dan masyarakat Indonesia.

Kuliah umum ini dianggap sebagai langkah positif dalam mendekatkan pemerintah dengan masyarakat akademis serta mendorong pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang kebijakan imigrasi yang sedang berkembang di Indonesia. Melalui kerja sama antara Dirjen Imigrasi dan universitas seperti UPH, diharapkan dapat tercapai sinergi yang positif dalam menggerakkan perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia melalui program Golden Visa ini.
