Arusberita.id – Kementerian Keuangan (Kemenkeu) telah menyalurkan anggaran sebesar Rp 22,5 triliun untuk program bantuan sosial (bansos) sembako hingga 6 Juni 2024.
Realisasi bansos sembako tersebut telah diberikan kepada 18,8 juta Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM).
“Program sembako merupakan salah satu bantuan sosial untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di tingkat keluarga penerima manfaat (KPM) sekaligus sebagai mekanisme perlindungan sosial dan penanggulangan kemiskinan,” dikutip dari instagram @ditjenperbendaharaan, Selasa (19/6).
Kemenkeu menyebut, meski namanya bansos sembako, masyarakat tetap bisa mendapatkan dalam bentuk uang sebesar Rp 200.000 per bulan dan dibagikan dua bulan sekali sehingga dalam satu tahun ada enam tahap penyaluran dan KPM akan menerima Rp 400.000 dalam sekali pencairan.
Lewat program ini, diharapkan dapat membantu meringankan beban ekonomi masyarakat yang sedang mengalami kesulitan, sebagai bentuk penanggulangan kemiskinan serta pelaksanaan tanggung jawab pemerintah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan, serta mendorong penyediaan gizi yang lebih seimbang.
