Arusberita.id – Tingginya permintaan pasar global terhadap produk halal berbanding lurus dengan kebutuhan akan jaminan pemenuhan unsur halal komoditas.
Sebagai negara yang memiliki ekosistem industri halal memadai terutama dalam penetapan sertifikasi halal, Indonesia membuka peluang kerja sama sebesar-besarnya dengan negara lain.
Saat dimintai tanggapannya oleh awak media mengenai Pemerintah Vietnam melalui Duta Besar Ta Va Thong yang ingin bekerja sama dengan Indonesia terkait penyediaan sertifikasi halal, Wakil Presiden (Wapres) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin menyampaikan akan terbuka terhadap peluang tersebut.
“Kita sudah punya standar halal, sudah ada lembaganya Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH). Kita memberikan asistensi bukan saja untuk di dalam negeri tapi juga di luar negeri,” ucap Wapres usai meninjau Program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya (BSPS) dan menyerahkan bantuan sosial dari BAZNAS kepada masyarakat, di Pendopo Kecamatan Prambanan, Jl. Raya Solo Km 17, Bokoharjo, Prambanan, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), Selasa (09/01/2024).
Menurut Wapres, dalam konteks kerja sama luar negeri, Indonesia telah memiliki berbagai bentuk kerja sama pada bidang syariah di sejumlah negara.
“Kita punya lembaga- lembaga, ada di Korea namanya “Ini Halal Korea”, di RRT yang saya kunjungi kemarin di Shanghai itu namanya “Al-Amin”. Ini merupakan lembaga yang mengelola halal tapi sertifikatnya dari Indonesia dan ada yang sertifikatnya (ditetapkan) setempat,” jelasnya.
Dalam teknis penanganannya, Wapres menyebut Vietnam dapat mengajukan bentuk kerja sama seperti apa yang diinginkan, yang nantinya akan disesuaikan dengan kepentingan kedua belah negara.
“Saya kira keinginan Vietnam ini akan kita respon ada dua, apa mereka hanya menjadi semacam lembaga pengelola yang sertifikasinya di Indonesia atau juga mereka ada lembaga sampai kepada sertifikasi sendiri, kita memberikan bimbingan dan pengakuan,” tambah Wapres.
Sebagai tindak lanjutnya, Wapres secara tegas memberikan respon positif terhadap potensi kerja sama di bidang industri halal dengan Negeri Naga Biru tersebut.
“Saya minta nanti supaya berhubungan dengan BPJPH di Indonesia,” pungkas Wapres.
Mendampingi Wapres dalam keterangan pers ini, Gubernur DIY Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, Bupati Sleman Kustini Sri Purnomo, Direktur Jenderal Perumahan Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat Iwan Suprijanto, dan Staf Khusus Wapres Bidang Komunikasi dan Informasi Masduki Baidlowi.
